Ursa Major Hoodie

From Bristol Bay to the Bering Sea, generations of Alaskan fisherman have depended on Grundéns gear to keep them protected in some of world’s harshest fisheries. This graphic pays homage to The Last Frontier, it’s commercial fishing lore and the history that defines it. The Big Dipper, an asterism of the greater Ursa Major constellation, is depicted on Alaska’s state flag, along with the North Star – an unmistakable celestial navigator familiar to any seafarer in the Northern Hemisphere - and arguably the world’s greatest fisherman as a bear captures its salmon dinner via river waterfall.
